  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
  • Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
  • Reviews accounting documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations and makes or directs correcting entries.
  • Prepares, maintains control, and is responsible for subsidiary accounting records involving a variety of transactions and accounts.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
  • Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.
  • Develop and maintain financial databases.
  • Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues.
  • Analyze and advise on business operations, including revenue trends, financial commitments, and future revenues.
  • Responsible for closing books at year end upon completion of annual audit.
  • Set up and maintain a record and filing system and other financial records for retrieval or review.
  • Identify any time-consuming bottlenecks and recommend improvement processes.
  • Prepares, maintains control, and is responsible for subsidiary accounting records involving a variety of transactions and accounts.
  • Maintain an ongoing review of customer credit limits.
  • Ensure customer accounts are reconciled and receipts are made according to this reconciliation.
  • Reconcile all accounts receivable related to balance sheet account.
  • Timely response to all departmental and management queries regarding the status of payments and invoice processing.
  • Follows up and refers uncollectible accounts to the finance manager for collection aging or bad debt write-off.
  • Processes approved adjustments and write-offs and maintains a detailed record of correspondence and all actions.
  • Communicates with customers on any and all accounts receivable issues (short pays, open invoices, aged balances).
  • Communicates and coordinates collection efforts with insurance department.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files.

  • Preferred candidates having hospital experience.
